I have finished a rough draft and the first re-write of my new WIP. I’m pretty excited about it since this is a project I have been wanting to write for a long time but never felt like I was ready or able to pull it off. But, I finally got the motivation to do something about it and now I’ve got around 6,000 words ready to be broke into smaller posts and shared with the world.
Since this week I finished up the final part of FREAKS, I should start posting this new WIP next week at some point.
I have gotten plenty of reading done since my last update.
- Books 3 of Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey (Narrated by MacLeod Andrews)
That shouldn’t work, right? And yet, it does!
I found this thing on Twitter that my friend has been doing and I thought it would be fun. I figured I could at it to my “weekly” posts and just do it 7 days at a time.

1: I am Oliver Gray and my current wip is an untitled series of short stories about a vampire hunter who… probably isn’t the best at their job.
2: The smell of copper, raw meat, and probably piss stained back alleyways.
3: Two jocks, a cheerleader, and a priest walk into Bella Vista’s Italian Bistro and Bar like it’s some sort of dumb joke.
4: Currently, the MC has no name and no gender. Yet somehow I managed to get 6k words into it without setting any of this in stone.
5: Aesthetic is Post-apocalyptic goth grunge vampire hunter.
6: They speak in fluent sarcasm and puns.
7: This current WIP is set in the same universe as the Wastelands series and my old Zeds series. A lot of my stories are set in the same world, including the Ancient which is this world but in the distant future.
